Designing, Dreaming, and Discovering Singapore - March 2025 entry 6

Today was another exciting day of work, diving deep into design and architecture with our team. We’re creating immersive experiences for the new stores—bringing in elements of nature, while capturing the unique energy and aesthetic of Singapore.

This is the kind of work that lights me up. Letting imagination run wild, dreaming up crazy ideas, and then figuring out how to make them happen. I truly believe that if you let yourself dream big enough, you’ll find a way to bring those dreams to life. And honestly? That’s where the magic happens.

The Scents of Singapore

As we explored the city, I couldn’t help but notice something—the scent of Singapore.

Cities usually have a certain smell, but here? It’s so fresh. Clean, crisp, with floral and spicy notes woven in. Maybe it’s the sea air, maybe it’s something else, but it’s unlike anything I’ve experienced in a city before.

Then, as I was wandering, I looked up and saw… a massive statue spewing water.

What was this thing? A giant catfish? A mythical creature? It was huge and mesmerizing. And then I spotted something even more surreal—those three towering skyscrapers with a surfboard-like structure connecting them at the top.

I know I’ve seen this in a movie before.

Singapore is full of massive, jaw-dropping landmarks, and every time I turn a corner, I feel inspired all over again.

Food, Exploration, and… A Restaurant Named After Me?!

One of my favorite ways to experience a place is through its food. It tells you so much about the culture, the history, and the people.

I wandered off into some side streets, popping into charming cafés, just soaking in the atmosphere.

And then—the best surprise of the day.

I stumbled upon a restaurant called… Marcy’s!

Clearly, they name things after me in Singapore, too! HA!

I had to eat there. Crab toast? Yes, please. Delicious! They also tried to get me to eat some mystery fish thing, but I just couldn’t do it.

Singapore’s Stunning Architecture

Beyond the food, beyond the scents—what really blows me away here is the architecture.

Every building tells a story. Futuristic, artistic, and completely unexpected. It’s like the city itself is a masterpiece, constantly inspiring and surprising me at every turn.

Another incredible day, another dose of inspiration. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
