Cozy Flannel

Cozy Flannel

Rich. Woody. Like Coming Home.

Top: Saffron, Jasmine
Heart: Cedarwood, Musk
Base: Ambergris

Everyone has a version of this. The flannel you reach for without thinking — the one that has been washed so many times it barely weighs anything anymore. The one with the slightly stretched-out cuffs and the faintest ghost of woodsmoke in the collar. That is not fashion. That is armor for a slow day.

Cozy Flannel opens with the warm spice of saffron and a whisper of jasmine — just enough brightness to feel alive. The heart is rich cedarwood and soft musk, woody and grounding, like the walls of an Adirondack cabin. Ambergris anchors everything with a deep, lingering warmth that stays close to the skin.

This is the scent of weekend mornings when nobody needs anything from you. Of woodsmoke and wool. Of the exhale that happens when you finally stop moving and settle in.

Why This Scent Feels the Way It Does
Cedarwood is one of the most studied grounding scents in aromatherapy — it activates the parasympathetic nervous system, the body's built-in calm-down mechanism. Saffron has been shown to ease tension and promote emotional warmth. Ambergris and musk create what researchers call a safety signal — a sensory cue that tells your nervous system it is okay to soften. Together, they reduce stress and promote deep comfort.
When to Reach for This Scent
For the moments when you want your space to feel like a cabin in the woods — warm, quiet, and completely yours. Light the candle on a weekend morning before you make coffee. Mist the room spray on your sofa, your reading chair, your bed linens. This is the scent for slowing down on purpose.

From Marcy

The Story Behind This Scent

In the Adirondacks, flannel is not fashion — it is a way of life. It is the first layer in October and the last layer you give up in May. I wanted to make a scent that captured that specific comfort — not the flannel itself, but the feeling of putting it on. That exhale when the day is done and you are finally in the clothes that feel like you.

The cedar and saffron came first, warm and woody, and the moment I added the musk and ambergris, there it was. Home.

How to Use Cozy Flannel

Light the candle on a weekend morning before you even make coffee — let it be the first signal that today moves at your pace, not anyone else's. Mist the room spray on your sofa, your reading chair, your bed linens — anywhere you land when the day is done. It turns ordinary rooms into the place you actually want to be.

Smooth on the lotion after a warm shower as the last thing you do before settling in for the evening. Cozy Flannel layers beautifully with itself — body wash in the morning, lotion in the evening, candle whenever you need the room to soften.
